Join Stephanie Sandleben, Pelvic Floor Yoga Therapist, for an informative talk focused on pelvic floor health, which is essential for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, along with managing issues such as incontinence, pelvic pain, and prolapse. This session will cover the anatomy and function of the pelvic floor, common concerns during and after pregnancy, and effective exercises and treatments to strengthen and support pelvic health. Attendees will learn practical strategies to enhance their well-being, promote recovery, and gain a better understanding of how to address and prevent pelvic floor disorders. This talk is ideal for anyone seeking to improve their pelvic health, whether they are expecting, recently postpartum, or experiencing symptoms related to pelvic floor dysfunction. Part lecture and part experience, this health talk includes a gentle yoga practice centered on pelvic floor health, so please wear comfortable clothes and be ready to move!

Stephanie Sandleben is a movement educator, yoga teacher, trained postpartum doula, and a Functional Medicine Health Coach with over 20 years of experience. She offers 1:1 personalized pelvic floor care along with teaching prenatal yoga and therapeutic workshops for pelvic floor health. Stephanie recently expanded her practice to include women’s health coaching specializing in supporting those with chronic health and autoimmunity. Stephanie is certified in Pelvic Floor Yoga ™ with Leslie Howard and a Pelvic Floor Fascia Trainer with the Franklin Method ™.  She was part of the teaching staff for the LILA (Lessening Incontinence through Low Impact Activity) study conducted by University of California San Francisco from 2019 - 2021; and was recently certified by Functional Medicine Coaching Academy in 2023.
