Event Details

What's the stuff of memoir? A memoir is a slice of life compared to an autobiography which encompasses all of one's life. Joann Ashlock will talk about what's written in a memoir, how it's written, and the voice of innocence versus the voice of experience. She will discuss examples by authors Sue Silverman and Mary Karr.

Joann Ashlock has a BA degree in English from Washington State University, an M.Ed in Education from the University of Miami, and an MA degree in English Literature from Gonzaga University.

Prescott Writers is hosted by Central Arizona Writers and presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
