The Connections Project is a 10 week program, taking place on Fridays from March 6 - May 8, that aims to assist participants in learning to utilize technology to increase their connectedness with friends, family, and others who share similar interests. During the first 5 weeks, participants are taught basics of a mobile tablet including turning it on/off, charging the battery, logging in with an email and password, writing emails, getting on the internet, and taking/sharing pictures.
Towards the second half of the 10 week class, participants will learn how to use the device to connect with friends and family through email and virtual platforms such Zoom and Google Meet. Participants can also attend live classes or watch pre-recorded classes on hundreds of topics through the Virtual Senior Center (Enliveo) website. Note: If attendees attend 80% of the classes, they will be able to keep the device at the end of the program. Registration Required. Please call Kristin Moore at 928-779-7087 to register.
