Playing guitar since his early teens, music has always been an important
part of Rick’s life. He also, early on, loved seeing through the lens of a
camera and greatly admired when a story could be told through both film
and a song.
Having careers in both motion pictures and television in Los Angeles for
ten years and thirty years behind a large format wooden camera shooting
the natural landscape, pre-digital, playing music has always remained a
personal joy and an escape to a quieter space. Joining MacDougalStreetWest, a Peter, Paul and Mary
Experience, since 2015 continues to be a highlight in the magical nuances
that four people can bring to a “sound”.
Coffeehouse Concerts showcases local and regional talent with an emphasis on original music each month from September through April. The series features a variety of acoustic, contemporary, and traditional styles of music. This concert is arranged and hosted by Jo Berger and presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
